1、Features and uses:

Type 52 chlorinated paraffin is a water-white, yellowish, light yellow or orange-yellow viscous oily liquid. As the chlorine content of the product increases, the density and viscosity also increase relatively, and the chlorinated paraffin has the same chlorine content, and the low viscosity indicates that the molecular weight is low. Chlorinated paraffin products are non-flammable, non-explosive, non-volatile, non-toxic, soluble in most organic solvents, insoluble in water, glycerin and ethanol. They have good compatibility with high polymers such as PVC resin, alkyd resin and natural rubber, and have good insulation properties. When chlorinated paraffin is heated above a certain temperature, it will slowly decompose and release hydrogen chloride (HCL) gas. Under the catalysis of HCL, the chlorinated paraffin will accelerate decomposition and the color will gradually deepen. When the temperature is higher than 300 ° C, heavy hydrocarbons and carbon chains are broken, and carbon atoms are released, and the appearance is sharply blackened. In addition, in the presence of metals such as light, iron, aluminum, zinc and their oxides, they are promoted to decompose.
